Philadelphia, PA The Philadelphia Eagles signed their 2008 second-round pick, defensive tackle Trevor Laws, to a four-year contract on Monday.
Philadelphia's first selection in this year's draft, Laws is expected to rotate with returning starters Brodrick Bunkley and Mike Patterson, the team's top picks in 2006 and 2005, respectively.
The 6-foot-1, 304-pound Laws led Notre Dame in tackles (112) as a senior in 2007 and set a career high with four sacks. He also had three blocked kicks on special teams. His 112 tackles were most among Division I defensive linemen and one shy of Notre Dame's single-season record.
