Lions sign RB Pinner

Allen Park, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Lions signed free agent running back Artose Pinner to a one-year deal on Thursday. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

Pinner re-joins Detroit and will be playing his sixth season in the NFL.

He spent the first three seasons of his NFL career in Detroit, then played for Minnesota in 2006 and Atlanta in 2007. Over 47 games, he has totaled 858 yards and eight touchdowns on 250 carries. Also, he has hauled in 39 passes for 308 yards.
