Halifax, Nova Scotia (Sports Network) - Ottawa Senators forward Dany Heatley posted a goal and three assists, as Canada steamrolled Latvia, 7-0, at the 2008 World Hockey Championships.

Columbus captain Rick Nash tallied twice for Canada, which will face team USA on Tuesday. Fellow Blue Jacket teammate Pascal Leclaire stopped 30 shots to earn the shutout.

Canada scored three times in the first period and turned the game into a laugher with three goals in the early stages of the second period. Nash completed the scoring midway through the middle stanza.

On Friday, Heatley notched a hat trick and added an assist to help Canada defeat Slovenia, 5-1.

Earlier in Quebec City, Alexei Morozov scored the overtime winner, as Russia topped the Czech Republic, 5-4.
