Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - San Jose Sharks left wing Milan Michalek left Game 6's 2-1 four-overtime loss against Dallas on Sunday at the end of regulation after being on the receiving end of a hard hit.

Towards the end of regulation, Michalek was skating up the left boards in the Dallas end with his head down. Brenden Morrow skated in and threw a check on Michalek that left him laying on the ice.

After the horn sounded ending the third period, trainers were on the ice with Michalek for several minutes and he was later helped into the locker room by two trainers.

Later in the game he was seen dressed in street clothes with a sling around his left arm.

In 13 playoffs games, the 23-year-old Czech Republic native had four goals.

San Jose lost the Western Conference semifinal series, 4-2, after dropping the first three games and winning the next two.
