(Sports Network) - The New York Knicks are still searching for their first win this month and will close out a three-game road trip Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center.
New York has lost its first five games of February and is 0-2 on the trek following Tuesday's 144-127 setback at Golden State's ORACLE Arena. Stephen Jackson posted 35 points, six rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Warriors.
David Lee had 27 points and 11 rebounds for the Knicks, who are a lowly 7-18 away from the Big Apple this season. Ex-Warrior Al Harrington, who was traded to the Knicks in November for Jamal Crawford, ended with 24 points and nine rebounds in defeat.
The Clippers will try to bounce back after their two-game winning streak stopped with Monday's 94-73 loss at Charlotte in the finale of a seven-game road trip (2-5).
Former Knick Zach Randolph had a game-best 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Clippers, who have dropped 22 of their last 26 games overall. Eric Gordon added 17 points and Steve Novak chipped in 13 in defeat.
Randolph will face New York for the first time since a November trade. He and reserve Mardy Collins were dealt to the Clippers for Cuttino Mobley and Tim Thomas.
Los Angeles is only 5-20 as the host this season and has lost two straight and four of its last five games at Staples Center.
In injury news for the Knicks, guards Chris Duhon (ankle) and Quentin Richardson (chest/ribs) and Thomas (groin) are all questionable for Wednesday.
The Clippers went 2-0 against the Knicks a year ago and have won six of seven and 10 of the last 14 meetings between the teams. New York has dropped nine in a row as the visitor in this series.
