Raiders claim Gradkowski off waivers

Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Oakland Raiders have claimed quarterback Bruce Gradkowski off waivers from the Cleveland Browns.

Gradkowski began last season with the St. Louis Rams before getting picked up by Cleveland late in the season. He started the regular-season finale for the Browns after injuries decimated the club's quarterback ranks.

The former Toledo standout was a sixth-round choice in the 2006 NFL draft by Tampa Bay and started 10 games that year, appearing in 13, while passing for 1,661 yards with nine TD's and nine interceptions. He appeared in just four games for the Bucs the following season.

Over three seasons in the league, the 26-year-old has a 52.8 completion percentage with 1,817 yards passing, nine TD's and 13 interceptions.
